The Basics About Abundance and Prosperity

Who doesn’t want to at least be comfortable and be able to pay bills, buy what they want and take care of their family without worry? If you want to know how about the science of getting rich wattles started years and years ago you first must have a basic understanding of the Laws of Attraction and the meaning of prosperity and abundance.

The basic Law of Attraction is a belief system that “like attracts like”. The easiest and most clear way to put this is that it is based on the premise that you attract to you according to your attitude. If you are positive you attract positive things and if you are negative you attract negative things. Generally it is about the energy you possess inwardly and project outwardly.

Abundance is defined as an extremely plentiful quantity of supply. This is not a physical concept, but a metaphyscial concept. The Law of Attraction considers it continuous supply of energy that can be used to manifest various forms of things in abundance. Abundance is often used to refer to wisdom, love and happiness (i.e. “She has an abundance of wisdom.”). You do not see these things, but you can see what they are capable of manifesting in the physical world.

Prosperity is a word that means a person is thriving or flourishing. Most people liken prosperity to money, success, luck or good fortune and affluence or wealth. However, prosperity goes beyond success, wealth and money. It is an energy that goes with positive thoughts and abundance.

Two pioneers in the practice of what is now the Law of Attraction which includes prosperity and abundance are prentice mulford and Wallace Delois Wattles. Both men were from another time and were, during their time thought to be odd, strange and unusual. However, they were also respected in their own circles as men of deep thought and unique vision.

Mulford did many things to reach his level of wealth but he also enjoyed studying human nature which led him to study the spiritual and mental world. Wattles, raised in a world of poverty achieved great wealth and wrote a book to share it with the world. Both of these men had various levels and forms of abundance and prosperity which encompassed much more than, but included money.
